Structural Integration is available and effective as individual treatment sessions.
For those wishing to make a greater commitment, Structural Integraton is also offered as an 10-session series. In the series work, each session builds upon the last, addressing layers of tissue throughout the process. The series is designed to balance your body in segments, with each session addressing a different aspect of your structure and movement. This work will help remove compensations your body has developed over the years that may no longer benefit you.
Structural Integration is a bodywork therapy which works with the connective tissue and nervous system in the human body to create positive change structurally, energetically, and emotionally. It was created by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, whose work is more commonly known by its nickname, Rolfing®. There are several structural integration schools around the country, all stemming from the work of Ida Rolf.
Through fascia manipulation, body-awareness, and movement re-education, Structural Integration works to release chronic structural imbalances and effectively realign the body.
Structural Integration educates the body's options for movement, creating change that releases old habits and allows the work to carry forward. As a result, a new sense of vitality and empowerment is available in one's own body. All types of people have benefited from Structural Integration. Children and older people alike can benefit from improved structural alignment.
SI has been effective in treating:

- overall health
Pricing for Structural Integration:
First Session: $120
After that: sliding scale, $120 - $150
Breakdown of Sessions:
Free the tissue surrounding the rib cage, lengthen the front line of the chest, resulting in feelings of lightness and well being, a more upright posture, and fuller, deeper breathing.
Focus on the body’s foundation, the lower legs and feet, creating a sense of being firmly grounded and in touch with reality.
Lengthen the sides of the body and free the shoulders so breathing can expand for greater relaxation and more immediately available energy.
Adjust and lengthen the center line, or core, that runs vertically through the body. After these sessions, walking takes a fraction of the energy typically expended, with improved balance and freedom of movement. These sessions should be completed within two weeks of each other.
Release the muscles of the neck, face, and head, resulting in a more relaxed appearance with increased self reliance and personal power.
Sessions 8, 9, 10
Integrate the whole body in a new and more efficient manner. Energy and vitality increase as the body’s structure becomes more aligned and balanced in gravity.
Session 11 (optional)
Release and integrate the myofascial wrapping of the arms and shoulders.
What is Somassage®?
Somassage® is a single session treatment work. It is a deep full body massage treatment that combines treatment work for injury and balancing of the existing body structure. Developed from the principles of SOMA Neuromuscular Integration®, it is available to everyone, if you have or have not had the SI series work. The intent of Somassage® is different than regular massage, the directionality is different and the fascia is addressed in a way that supports the sense of greater suspension and verticality. The client is invited to participate in the session, using a focused presence to acheive greater body awareness. The client is taught to utilize movement to aid the body in continuing the wellness process.
Somassage® allows for injury treatment, release of tension, increased flexibility, and promotes a relaxed energy.
